Memorial website in the memory of your loved one

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one Vincent J. Cali who was born in New York on May 31, 1941 and passed away on December 23, 2009 at the age of 68. He will be loved and missed forever.

Vincent J. Cali was a loving, courageous, strong, and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He fought his way through 7 years of having myelofibrosis. Myelofibrosis is a blood disorder which replaces bone marrow with scar tissue. We as his family tried to find a bone marrow donor, but were unfortunately unsuccessful. The average life span of someone who has this disorder is 5 years. We are exteremely fortunate to have him be one of the very lucky ones to fight and pass the span of five years. Although he was suffering for so long, we are all grateful for his life shared with us, the Cali's. No one wanted to see him suffer any longer than he already did. Unfortunately you don't choose when to pass on. His mind became stronger than his body, and God chose 1:47am on December 23, 2009 to be his time. We all love you, and you will never be forgotten by anyone who has ever met you. We are glad to know you are resting peacfully now and forever.
